Opening in the coming months, another craft brewery is coming to the already infamous beer town of Frederick, MD. Monacacy Brewing Company, owned by Phil Bowers, will be opening their 15,000 square foot brewery at 1781 N. Market Street in Frederick. Bowers, who currently owns the successful brewpub Brewer’s Alley, is expecting to open the brewery this November. Named after the river that flows through Frederick County, Monacacy Brewing Company will be brewing up to 20,000 barrels of their own signature beer every year.
